Primary Responsibility:

Responsible for the retention and expansion of existing business relationships, the development of new business, making referrals to other bank areas, and the servicing of a variety of retail, consumer and small businesses loans. Identifies client needs and works with customers to offer appropriate bank products and services. Manages accounts of average complexity and dollar size/risk and non-routine credits with moderate levels of authority. Negotiates within established guidelines, credit pricing, terms and structure. Incumbent will develop and execute a business development plan to achieve established goals and objectives as well as schedule customer appointments, develop customer profiles or cross-sales opportunities. Applicant should have a firm knowledge or develop a firm knowledge of bank products, services, credit standards, bank pricing parameters, etc. Applicant will also represent the bank in community and industry functions and enhance the bank image and develop additional business.
Requirements:

•College degree in Business Administration; or a college degree from an accredited university coupled with at least 2 Accounting or 2 Finance classes; or equivalent work experience.
•A degree in Finance or Accounting is preferred.
•Formal Credit Training.
•At least 2 years of experience working under the direction of Senior Bankers.
•Basic knowledge of business development/sales tools and techniques.
•Basic knowledge of commercial and retail lending services, documentation and underwriting.
•Working knowledge of bank office lending functions.
•Working knowledge of the loan application and loan approval process.
•Thorough knowledge of financial ratios, analysis and business principles.
•Understanding of regulatory guidelines.
•Working knowledge of credit analysis and lending functions.
•Working knowledge of all bank products and services.
•Ability to generate and manage relationships that have a low to moderate level of difficulty.

If the employee is unable to lift/move/carry this weight and can be accommodated without causing the department/division an “undue hardship” then the employee must be accommodated; hence omitting lifting/moving/carrying as a physical requirement.
